The straightforward approach is to keep all possible positions after collecting each type. For every position of type x, we calculate the best previous position among all positions of type x - 1. The transition is correct because the key sequence forces the order of types, so the only information needed from the past is the minimum cost of arriving at each previous position.
A brute force implementation follows this idea but recomputes too much. If there are k positions of one type and t positions of the next type, it performs k * t Manhattan distance calculations. In the worst case, many types can have many occurrences, and the total work approaches the square of the number of cells, around 8 * 10^9 operations for a 90,000 cell grid, which is too slow.
The key observation is that the number of cells is only 90,000, but the number of types can also be large. We need to exploit the fact that the total number of positions across all types is fixed. The optimal solution still performs the dynamic programming transition, but only between consecutive types. Since the sum of all positions in all groups is the number of cells, the total number of transitions is manageable when the implementation avoids unnecessary work.
For each type, we store its coordinates. We maintain the minimum cost to reach every coordinate of the current type. Then we use those values to compute the costs for the next type. The final value for the only cell containing the last type is the answer.

Algorithm Walkthrough
- Store every cell position grouped by its chest type. A type can appear in several cells, so we need a list of coordinates rather than a single coordinate.

The groups array stores the coordinates of every chest type. This keeps the total stored positions equal to the number of cells instead of creating a large grid of unnecessary states.
The initial dynamic programming state is built from type 1 chests. The starting point is (0, 0), so the first movement cost is simply the Manhattan distance to each possible type 1 location.
The transition loop processes types in increasing order. For every new chest position, the inner loop scans all reachable positions of the previous type and chooses the smallest total distance. The code stores the coordinate together with its current minimum cost because the next transition needs both the location and the accumulated distance.
