The game starts at the first node of the first layer and two players alternate moves. A move is simply choosing any outgoing edge from the current node and moving the token along it. The player who moves the token into the last node of the last layer wins immediately.
So the entire game is a deterministic two-player game on a DAG with perfect information. The only state that matters is the current node, and from each node the set of moves is fixed by the structure of the layers.
The input size is large: up to 10^5 layers, and each layer size can be as large as 10^18. This immediately rules out any graph construction or simulation of nodes. Even iterating through all nodes is impossible because the total number of nodes can be astronomically large. The key observation is that inside a layer, movement is completely deterministic: from any node you can walk right until the end of that layer. That means all nodes in a layer behave like positions along a single chain with identical outgoing structure except for their index. The only meaningful “choice points” are whether a player stops traversing a layer early or continues to the end before jumping down.
This collapses each layer into a single game state characterized by whether you are at the first node of a layer or somewhere inside it. However, because every node connects to the next layer’s first node, any position inside a layer effectively gives the same future options as the end of that layer, except for how many moves have already been spent.
This reduces the entire game into a parity-style decision over layers: what matters is whether a player is forced to take the vertical transition immediately or can “consume” extra moves inside a layer to flip turn parity. After simplifying the structure, each layer contributes a single value: whether its length is odd or even determines whether entering it preserves or flips the current player advantage.
Thus the game reduces to computing a simple XOR-like accumulation over layer parities.

Algorithm Walkthrough
- Treat each layer as a segment of forced horizontal moves followed by a mandatory jump to the next layer. The player cannot skip the structure, so every decision is ultimately about how many moves are consumed before passing control.

Why it works
The invariant is that after finishing any layer, the only information that matters for the remainder of the game is which player's turn it is. The internal position inside a layer does not affect future branching because every node in a layer leads to the same next-layer entry. The only effect of a layer is how many moves are consumed before reaching the next decision boundary, which is exactly its parity. Since the game is a pure alternation of moves on a single path with deterministic transitions between layers, reducing each layer to a parity flip preserves the full game state.
