So if the initial permutation has odd parity, it can never be transformed into the identity permutation (sorted order), which is even.
What remains is to check whether parity alone is sufficient. Since adjacent swaps generate all permutations and adjacent swaps can be composed of 3-cycles only when parity allows, this operation set generates exactly the alternating group. That means all even permutations are reachable, and all odd ones are unreachable.

Algorithm Walkthrough
We reduce the problem to determining whether the permutation has even parity.
- Convert the problem into checking how many inversions the array has. An inversion is a pair $(i, j)$ with $i < j$ but $a_i > a_j$. This directly measures permutation parity.
- Compute inversion parity efficiently rather than counting full inversions. We only need whether the count is even or odd.
- Use a Fenwick tree (or merge-sort based counting) to process elements from left to right. Each time we insert a value, we count how many previously seen values are greater than it.
- Maintain the parity as a single bit that flips whenever we encounter an inversion contribution that is odd.
- After processing the full array, if parity is even, output 1, otherwise output 0.
Why it works
Each allowed operation is a 3-cycle, which is an even permutation and therefore preserves inversion parity. Since the sorted array has zero inversions, which is even, only arrays with even inversion parity can be transformed into it. Conversely, any even permutation can be decomposed into a sequence of such 3-cycles, meaning it is reachable. So parity is both necessary and sufficient.

The Fenwick tree maintains counts of already-seen elements. For each new element, everything previously inserted that is larger contributes to an inversion. We only track whether that number is odd or even, so we XOR the parity bit instead of accumulating full counts.
Coordinate compression is required because values go up to $10^9$, while Fenwick indices must be contiguous.
The critical implementation detail is that we never store full inversion counts, since they can exceed 64-bit range; only parity matters.
