For a feature $x$, if we know its positions in sorted order, then for a query $[l, r, p]$, we only need to check whether all occurrences of $x$ inside $[l, r]$ are concentrated at $p$. This suggests preprocessing each feature as a sorted list of indices. Then the problem becomes a range membership check inside a list. Algorithm Walkthrough
- Store, for every feature value, the list of positions where it appears in increasing order. This lets us reason locally about each feature without repeatedly scanning the array.
