This moves value $i$ into the location of $1$, while pushing whatever was at $1$ into position $p$.
We update both the permutation array and position map accordingly. 6. Now swap the value at position $1$ with the value currently at position $i$.
This places $i$ into its correct final position $i$, and moves the displaced value back into position $1$. 7. Update the position of all affected values after each swap. Continue until all positions are fixed.
