Algorithm Walkthrough
We maintain residual capacities on edges, initially all equal to 1. We will construct k successive flow layers. Each layer is a directed tree rooted at node 1 inside the current residual graph, representing one unit of flow that can be distributed to multiple reachable nodes while respecting edge capacities.

- For each of the k iterations, we build one flow layer using a DFS or BFS starting from node 1 on the current residual graph. We only traverse edges whose residual capacity is still 1.
