- For a sum query $(l, r)$, we compute the total value at each index by aggregating contributions from all $(p, k)$ structures. For each position $i$, its value is the sum of point queries at its compressed coordinate in its corresponding tree.
- We compute prefix sums over $[l, r]$ by iterating through all maintained structures and using Fenwick prefix queries. The final answer is the sum of contributions from all residue systems.
Why it works
Each element of the array belongs to exactly one residue class for each modulus $p$. Updates only affect one residue class per modulus, and the transformation preserves ordering within that class. Since Fenwick trees maintain correct prefix sums under range updates, each structure independently tracks contributions without interference.
