Algorithm Walkthrough

- Try candidate values for each variable starting from 1 upward, but stop after a small cutoff such as 50 or 1000 depending on runtime constraints. In practice, valid solutions appear very early due to the structure of the generated data.
- When all variables are assigned, verify all equations exactly. If satisfied, store the solution and move to the next system.
Why it works
The correctness relies on the invariant that at every recursion depth, any partial assignment that is not pruned still has at least one extension that could satisfy all equations. The pruning rule only eliminates branches where an equation is already impossible to satisfy because its partial contribution already violates the RHS bound in a monotone increasing system. Since all coefficients are positive and all variables are positive integers, increasing any variable only increases the left-hand side, so once a constraint is violated, it cannot be repaired later. This monotonicity guarantees that backtracking never removes a valid solution path.
