The key freedom is that we are not required to keep values close to the original array. We can spend up to k total unit increments or decrements distributed arbitrarily across elements.
The goal is to choose a subarray and adjust its elements so that it can be transformed into some consecutive integer sequence while minimizing total adjustment cost, and we want to maximize the achievable length under budget k.
The constraints are large: up to 5 × 10^5 total elements across test cases and k can be as large as 10^15. This immediately rules out any solution that tries all subarrays and recomputes transformation cost naively in O(n^2) or even O(n log n) per subarray.
