This is equivalent to enforcing that every node has a well-defined “black distance” to its deepest leaves that must be consistent across all children. Algorithm Walkthrough

- We add the cost of potentially flipping the current node itself if its color disagrees with the chosen configuration required by the subtree baseline.
- Store the resulting DP value for the node, and propagate it upward so ancestors can treat the entire subtree as a single aggregated unit.
